Home 9 Titus Women Ministry

The Titus Women Ministry (based on Scriptures from the book of Titus 2:3-5 and Proverbs 31:10-31) aims to build relationships between women of the church and community while communicating love and the Word of God in practical ways that lead ladies of ages to discover and live out their God-given purpose.

To all women of White Rock and the community… we need to hear from YOU!!

What if you could deepen your relationship with God and build lasting relationships with other incredible women like yourself?  There’s a team working hard to bring you exactly that, but we need your help.  Under the direction of Sr. Pastor, Rev. Dr. Reginald Van Stephens and Rev. Dr. Irene Perry, Director of Discipleship Development, the Titus Women planning team is in the process of planning value-added offerings for the women of White Rock and the greater community. To avoid planning in a vacuum and subsequently, not meeting the needs of the women parishioners, we need to hear from you!  Please review the purpose and goal of the ministry below, then complete and submit the brief survey that follows. Please be as thoughtful as you can in answering the questions, which will assist us in planning activities for you.

PURPOSE: The Titus Women Ministry exists to build relationships between women of the church and community, while communicating love and the Word of God in practical ways that will help lead women to discover and live out their God-given purpose. The Women’s Ministry is a place where fun is had, laughter is heard, lives are changed, hearts are shared, and the love of Christ reigns preeminent.

The scriptural foundation for the Titus Women Ministry is Titus 2 and Proverbs 31:10-31 (NIV). It is important to note that Titus 2 and Proverbs 31 focus primarily on married women with children because the vast majority of the women in the first century were married. However, both chapters are quite relevant for all women today. In short, older Christian women in relation to younger women (in age or faith), have a responsibility to teach what is good and mentor the younger women. Moreover, all women are to live reverently, love, and be self-controlled, pure, and kind.

GOAL: The ministry’s goal is to assist women of all ages – married or single – in deepening their relationship with Jesus Christ while building relationships of support with other women within the church and community. The ministry aims to have participating women interact within a warm fellowship and faithfully offer engaging experiences that glorify God and assist in the spiritual, emotional, and social development of participating women.
