Our Summer Christian Experience for Children (SCEC) will be an in-person learning experience for children ages 11-14. Each day will be filled with engaging activities and meaningful lessons that inspire spiritual growth, personal responsibility, kindness, and respect for others. Our 2025 Theme: Live with Purpose: Make Every Moment Count

$100 per child/week

What will my child need for SCEC?
For safety reasons, we strongly recommend that your child wear sneakers. Our program includes activities that my involve running and other physical movement, so open-toed shoes/sandals, Crocs, and flip-flops are discouraged.
What if my child doesn’t know anyone?
Making new friends is an exciting part of the SCEC experience. We will have interaction-building activities designed to help children connect with one another, even if they do not know anyone at the beginning. Encourage your child to actively participate and remain open to forming new friendships.
What times does SCEC program start and end?
The program is from 8:30 am-3:30 pm
Do you offer SCEC virtual?
No, SCEC is in-person only
Do you offer before and after care?
No, we do not offer before and after care.
Do you provide breakfast and lunch?
Yes, we provide breakfast and lunch each day.
What if my child has food allergies?
To prioritize your child’s safety and well being, we recommend that they bring their own breakfast and lunch. Please note that we are unable to accommodate or monitor individual allergy restrictions.
What should I do if I need to pick up my child early from SCEC?
Please be aware that SCEC participants cannot be picked up early without prior permission from a parent. Only authorized adults with a valid, current photo ID will be permitted to pick up your child.
What is the cost?
$100 per child/week
When is payment due?
The total payment is due upon notification of your child’s acceptance into the program. As part of the acceptance process, a brief interview with the parent and child is required to ensure understanding that this is a Christian Summer Experience for Children designed to encourage your child’s spiritual growth, individual responsibility, and respect for others. Registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
What type of payment is accepted?
We accept all major credit and debit cards.
How do I make a payment?
All payments must be made online through our designated payment portal. Cash, checks, and in-person payments will not be accepted.
What is your refund policy?
All SCEC fees are non-refundable. By registering, you acknowledge and agree that no refunds, partial or full, will be issued for cancellations, absences, behavioral dismissals, or any other reason. This policy applies to all circumstances including illness or scheduling conflicts. Please confirm your child’s availability and commitment before completing the registration.
What if my child has to take medication while at SCEC?
Your child’s health and safety are our top priorities. A completed and signed Medication Authorization Form MUST be submitted for each medication BEFORE your child’s first day at SCEC.

We are excited to offer sponsorship opportunities for children in need of financial assistance. Please contact the church office for more information.
