Home 9 Boy Scouts Ministry

Scouting is fun with a purpose! Scouting is for boys from 1st grade through age 18. The boy does not have to be a member of White Rock to be in our scouting program.

We are now seeking and accepting boys for our Boy Scout Troop 55 and Cub Scout Pack 55. Our meeting time is the first and third Friday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Teen Room.  The age range for Cub Scouts is 6-11 (or first thru fifth grade) and for Boy Scouts, 11-17 (or sixth thru twelfth grade).  Please click this link to contact Scout leaders Deacon E. J. Clemons or Sister LaShana Broussard-Morris if you have questions or need additional information.

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.  Scout Law: A Scout is Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean and Reverent.  These characteristics help young boys develop into responsible citizens, while having fun doing it.  We thank White Rock for your continuing support of Troop and Post 55 over the years.
