Music Ministry

The Music Ministry offers unto the Lord a ministry of praise and worship and ministers God’s holy Word through music. The Ministry is comprised of several different choirs. We welcome participation by White Rock members of all ages:

Church Choir – This adult choir sings a variety of inspirational music, focusing on anthems, spirituals, old-time gospel, and traditional gospel.  This group ministers for special events and on the 1st and 2nd Sundays of every month, unless otherwise scheduled.

Angels of the Rock – This children’s choir sings familiar hymns and child-centered gospel songs.  The children minister on the 3rd Sunday of every month, unless otherwise scheduled.

Melodies of the Rock – This youth choir sings popular youth-centered gospel and contemporary music.  The ages range from 10 and over.  These young people minister on the 3rd Sunday of every month.

Male Chorus – This group of men sings a variety of spirituals, gospels, and quartet-style songs on the 4th Sunday of every month, unless otherwise scheduled.  The group is comprised of men of all ages.

Praise & Worship Team – This ministry is responsible for leading all worship services with an array of praise and worship music, while ushering saints into the presence of the Lord.  Members must represent a lifestyle consistent with God’s Holy Word.  Rehearsals and study are scheduled monthly.

JuBellate and Bells of Praise Handbells Choirs – These groups lend a different style of worship as members “ring” a variety of inspirational music for special Worship services, as scheduled.  Rehearsals are scheduled.
