Our church theme for 2023 is “Committed to Loving Christ and Each Other!” The foundational scripture passage for the 2023 theme is John 15: 9-12. As a congregation, we continually strive to become more of what God wants us to be. We also recognize that we are all on a journey, whether we have come to know Christ or we are still searching.
This is a fantastic time to be a part of the White Rock Baptist Church family! We are a church modeling itself after the teachings in the New Testament scriptures, as Christians of all ages and genders spread the Good News to others.
Personal evangelism is a key component of our ministry here. We encourage our members to be “contagious Christians,” sharing their faith with family, friends, co-workers, and others – to make sure salvation is in every house! The Bible says when Jesus returns He is only coming back for His ‘active’ church! (The Bible does not say Jesus is returning for independent individuals or dormant members.)
We are striving to develop and maintain a culture of prayer at White Rock Baptist Church. This church-wide culture includes a set of shared prayer-related attitudes, values, goals, and practices derived from the Holy Bible that characterizes the disciples of Jesus, who taught that “…My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.” (Mark11:17 NIV).
This site is designed to provide information about our church and our efforts to serve our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST. We encourage you to browse through our site to see the many things our church is doing to serve God.
