2025 Emergency Assistance Program

Program Guidelines:

This is a program of Emergency Assistance (gas, water, oil, electric (with cut-off notices or rent eviction notices) for those in need.

  1. Applicants must bring evidence of a delinquent bill such as cut-off notices or eviction notices on company letterhead.  Handwritten notices will not be accepted nor will bills be accepted on cell phones. No exceptions!
  2. The delinquent bill must be in the name of the applicant (no exceptions)
  3. Assistance will be limited to $150 for one utility bill or rent payment per household.
  4. Applications will be considered on a yearly basis once every 12 months.
  5. Payments will be made directly to the utility company or landlord.
  6. We do not make appointments. Any one needing help should arrive in-person on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 8:30 am until 11:00 amThis is a first come, first serve basis and only in-person applicants.
